The “feel good” race of the year…in just two years over $8,000 has been raised to assist cancer patients during treatments. Held in conjunction with Waynesboro’s biggest summer party – Summer Extravaganza!!!

A challenging run through the beautiful neighborhoods of our city, race day t-shirt, fully stocked aid stations, post race party with food & drink and the satisfaction of knowing that a portion of your race fee will be donated to the Augusta Health Cancer Center Bridge Fund.
Running for a Cause
We are proud to announce that this year a portion of the proceeds from the race will go towards the Augusta Health Cancer Center Bridge Fund. This fund provides financial assistance to cancer patients in need. The money raised will help purchase medication and provide money for transportation to and from cancer treatments. During these difficult economic times helping a neighbor or friend who is dealing with cancer can make a world of difference. We are asking for your help to make this race a success and to help those most in need.
Cancer touches so many lives in so many different ways. Why not honor a loved one or friend who is dealing with this devastating disease, form a team and run or walk for them!
Fine Print
The course will be open to traffic, with support from local law enforcement at key intersections.
The post race party and awards ceremony will be held at The Serenity Garden, located adjacent to the starting line.
Race day registration will be taken from 7:00am- 7:30am.
Headphones (ipods, mp3 players, etc) are allowed on the race course, but ar used at the risk of each individual runner.
There will be no refunds three weeks prior to race day.
You must be at least 8 years old on or before July 1, 2013 to participate.

Race Day Directions
To Ridgeview Park-Start
From I-64, take Exit 94. When you get off the exit ramp, go East on Route 340 towards Waynesboro. Proceed approximately 2 miles. At the traffic light at Riverview Cemetery, turn right onto 13th Street. At the stop sign turn right onto Magnolia Avenue. Magnolia ends at the park.
